Francophone speaking!

Well, then. I'm Idoloni, also known as Pumah or a variation of The Shadow, but you can call me Ido. The word 'idoloni' means 'wraith, ghost' in Latin and sounded cool.
I am an avid reader and do so at every possible moment; I usually have some kind of reading material on me at all times. My favourite authors are Terry Pratchett, Jasper Fforde, Garth Nix, Robin Hobb and Jonathan Stroud. I also enjoy writing, though I personally think my stories are awful; what other people think is another matter entirely, as I've never let anyone read anything I've written because I'm afraid of getting laughed at. After all, if you don't try, you can't fail. I love to draw, though my art pales in comparison to the artists' here.
I also speak French since I've lived in the south-west of France for seven years, just over half my life. Before we moved, I lived in the south of England.

As for some really odd facts about me, well...
- I have met Sir Patrick Moore.
- When I was very small, I was babysat by Alan Rickman's sister.
- I am (possibly) a descendant of Henry Morgan.
- I enjoy using obscure vocabulary, just because I can. I especially like the words 'aphotic', 'ataraxia', 'exordium' and 'axiom'. Look 'em up.
- I am better at French than the majority of the French students in my class (but that's not really very hard, to be honest).
- I love the night, but I'm scared of the dark.
- I once walked into a STOP sign.
- I love seeing the full moon so much that my friends all call me a werewolf (this is probably not helped by the additional fact that I like making threatening animal noises such as hissing and growling).
- I'm a cat person. I can't help it, they're just so damn adorable...

...And I've only just realized that this makes me sound like a complete lunatic. Oh well. It's not so far from the truth.
