Which planets should be opened?

At the beginning which planets other than Zeima, P1, and Mavi should be open to exploration? Should Roon also be? Or any of the U planets?

Honestly, I think just the main planets should be opened. The other ones have to be accessed later on. Makes it more of a challenge that way.

So we need to start with limited range. P1, Mavi, and Zeima are it for now then. Maybe Roon after a month. Gencorp has to "develop" the technology of getting onto Roon with it's toxic atmosphere. Roon is farther away from Nyoka but it's hotter than Zeima because it has a way greater greenhouse effect.

Don't forget that technological developments always have a cost. I believe it was discussed about having some technologies require upgrades, right? We should also decide which ones Gencorp will spring for you, and which ones they make you pay for yourself.

Yeah the main planets: Zeima, P1, and Mavi should be the only ones accessible at the beginning.

Like Skie said, you should have to get more equipment and stuff before you can go to the more dangerous planets.

Perhaps the crab will be a gift from Gencorp's labs in light of "recent technological developments that allow us to bring you to some of the most exotic planets in the galaxy".
