Ok everyone, I can't handle the expense of the server by myself and if you don't want the website to go down, please donate as soon as you can. There's a donate button on the homepage of the site, so you all may use that. I'd appreciate if you gave me some reassurance by posting in this thread that you will donate or not. Thank you so much if you do.

I shall donate as soon as I can. Either late tonight when my dad comes home or tomorrow if he's not in a good mood. I'll do my best. :>

I'm going to have my birthday soon and just sending it by letter with cash inside it much more convenient.

If we did that, we'd be a paysite unless we made the creatures breedable so that everyone could get them.

No, not with ads because then people click them for no reason and google picks it up and it gets me banned (It's happened before.) but it's ok if you can't donate

I don't have any money of my own (and no way to get a job since I don't have my license yet), and my mother tends to shop while under the influence of alcohol which leads to her buying things we don't need. I won't be able to donate myself, but assuming this site is still up by the time I'm out of college and get a steady job, I'll be sure to donate then! c:

Maybe donating a dollar could get you 1 donation point. This would encourage more donations by giving people something for their donation past keeping the site going.

The donation points would be used on consumable items that have special effects on your creatures. For example, a special item could change a creature's gender or increase the chances of an egg hatching a special colored creature. The items should all be able to be used so they don't build up and start to devalue themselves.

The items should never retire (it creates inflation if they do!) and should have very expensive Platinum prices so non-donators can get them, too.

It's just an idea that might be of interest.

No, we are against any kind of special anything, whether they be pets or items, when it comes to donating.

If donating gets you something in return, that's paying, a transaction, not a donating.
