How do you NOT automatically follow a topic after you post in it?

So every time I post in a topic it makes me follow it. I can go and delete the topics i'm following, but it just gets annoying. It's annoying having to follow them because it sends me an email every time someone posts in a thread. Is there a way to disable this? I've looked, but I can't find a way.

Go to your profile and then to preferences. The sixth item from the top is "always notify me of replies", which forumotion somehow puts on yes standard. Put that on no and save. That should fix it Smile

I guess I was expecting it to say, "Stop Following Topics." Or something more similar so I probably went right past that multiple times.
