The pound a.k.a. abandoned shelter is a place which you can get to (when there's stuff in it) from any biome. There will be a link then. It's where stuff goes when you abandon it.

The Majestic Icewolf alt is just as the name says... look at my menagerie to see the first ever alt Razz

Alts can only be bred, at a small chance, by other alts. So, you'd have to wait for Rhynn, myself, or Rebsingh, (the only owners of the current alts), to breed another one and then drop it into the pound.
