So be honest. How horrible are dem feathers.

Found on P1 and Mavi, similar to the Crested Featherlizard in a lot of respects. Would it be possible to code for them to breed to make a sterile hybrid?

The feathers are okay, they're just really straight.

Anyway, nice species.
I would love a sterile hybrid.

Hybrid from breeding that can't breed itself.

Why would that happen? D:

Example: Mules.

Hybrid of horses & donkeys. Has mis-matching Chromosomes. VERY OCCAISIONALLY, a female might be fertile.
A female mule bred to a donkey will produce a 100% pure donkey foal. Very Happy

It has to do with the species being too different. As said before, the chromosomes don't match, thus the offspring are unable to produce offspring themselves.

To the topic: The sprite looks good, but I would be confused about the sterile offspring. I mean, we can breed lava lindwyrms and tinged nightmare crawlers and they don't have sterile offspring despite being from different planets? It just seems...strange from this point of view, although the sterile offspring idea would fit into PN.
