Hm, yes, you mother cat is confused by the sounds of it Digi. She is new to having kittens and doesn't exactly know what to do with them. This happens a lot with first litters.

Cats like to have their kittens in a "cave" setting, it makes them feel more secure and safe. Move the kittens into an empty floor cupboard or get a bigger box and tip it on its side and cover it with a towel or sheet. Put the box somewhere in a corner. Pick up the mother and show her where her kittens are, pet her and leave. Hopefully she'll accept her "cave" and stay.

Also make sure she is nursing them. If their bodies are cold, there may be something wrong with them and they will eventually die. There is nothing you can really do about that I'm afraid if that is the scenario.

Well I moved the box back up because she didn't know where it was, and when she found it she picked one of them up again and started moving. I went to bed hoping everything would sort out but when I woke up she had put the kittens somewhere in the house, and I have no idea where they are, and they aren't making any sounds.

Well, when she comes out, follow her when she goes back to them, at least then you'll know where they are. If she moved them up high somewhere, move them somewhere closer to the ground so that they don't fall off/out and die.

Thanks.

So I followed her, but she just followed me after, and when she trusted me enough she jumped in a container and I heard kitten noises, and there they were Very Happy

A container? Well, as long as it is safe I suppose. She'll move them again when they get bigger.

When they open their eyes after a week, start holding or petting them so that they don't turn feral as they get older.

I just got a betta fish. He's gorgeous, I'll put up a pic as soon as I can get a good one. He nicked a scale off his back while I was putting him in, but it looks healthy and I have a bit of aquarium salt in there, so he should be okay.

We got a dog and two cats. I need to post pictures of them soon, people keep asking for them, heh.

Danson - Chiuaua/...something or other mix (we think corgi)

Livana - GIANT white shorthair. She's bigger then the dog is.

Makani - Seal point snowshoe mix

Here's a pic of Tucker, he's a Jack Russell terrier;

(it's quite big, so you'll have to click this)

(and another)

Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of my cat, Alley. She doesn't like her photo being taken. tongue

Scout the Beagle!

Scout is my puppy beagle! Smile
We got her around June. She is a beagle puppy about 5-6 months old now.
I've been wanting a dog for months, and then there was a pregnant beagle that kept popping up at my Dad's workplace, so him and his co-workers decided to make a little place for the mother beagle, and her puppies! Smile
Scout is super energetic, sometimes too energetic, but I like her alot Very Happy
