Post by martijn1202 Wed Aug 17, 2011 6:38 am

what about an deep sea area?
an area in the middle of the sea of P1, because P1 have 50% sea
in the deep sea on earth are already animals that look like aliens
Spoiler:

i like this idea, but i kinda agree with Mirounga....
the sea isn't just a single biome... it is many different ones just like on land...
we do have forest, grasslands, tundras, deserts, etc. so why cant we have diversity beneath the waves as well....

beside i can to see some pretty fishes...XD

I think we should only have 2 (River and Ocean which we should have)water biomes on the main planets as so many water biomes would be too much imo. We could always have one planet where you can explore everything and there are many different water biomes. Deep sea adventure! Razz

I support the deep sea idea for P1.

...What about if that section was only accessible if you had proper equipment, on top of whatever requirements you will need to unlock it- when the planet becomes available (Unless someone already thought of that). After all humans can't breath underwater, we would go kaput X.X

Well, let's not get too far ahead of ourselves.
A crazy water planet would be amazing.
Perhaps island chains and a volcano. 8D

I agree, we can't just jump into oceans without the proper equipment.

We can always make new biomes as more new creatures pop up? That way we don't have 10 biomes with only one creature in each in the beginning; we start off with, say, 2 with 5 creatures each, and then as more creatures are "discovered" we can subdivide biomes?

Oh, clever.

It doesn't even need to be standard - I'd love, for one, to have one such message being about how scientists have been squabbling about subdivisions of ___ biome for a while now and a conclusion has finally been reached.

'cause a lot of the time it's not just discovering regions, but deciding where one starts and another ends.

True.
We need a list of biome regions that would be good to have, to add variety to the types of creatures.
