I got the egg

Thanks but he is only the gendered hatchling. xD I have the adult sketched out and will upload them as soon as my scanner will cooperate again.^^

Re: Bioluminescent Deep Sea Creature
Is the creature actually bioluminescent itself or does it have a symbiotic relationship with bioluminescent bacteria?
Re: Bioluminescent Deep Sea Creature
I would imagine the spots along the flank to be sections where the bacteria would thrive.

Re: Bioluminescent Deep Sea Creature
Good question though I would think it's bioluminescent itself, but we will wait for a word from Megablukk okay?
Also Voxezi what do you see wrong with Spotty? I just prefer to alter sketchs myself if possible.

late t.t
yes, you can redline it.
It does have a symbiotic relationship, but with algae. (if you want it to be totally bioluminescent, than just reply)

Algae... glows?
The fins seem to have no bones in them, just flubs.

There is bioluminescent algae, yes.Voxezi wrote:Algae... glows?

But what does the algae provide for the creature, and what does the creature provide for the algae? Or does the algae gain something, but the creature dosen't?
sprite
Awesome!
It's contrasty though

Adult (forgot what gender it was supposed to be)?
Since it is about as old as the hatchling sketch it still suffers from fin-flaps but again I can edit this while spriting.
