My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

The latest installment in the my little pony television series, produced/mainly animated by Lauren Faust (who was also behind The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.) This is a particularly popular television series among teens, most particularly males, who refer to themselves as bronies. To introduce new members into the herd, please indulge in this music video that the animators of the series created as a parody to California Girls, only with ponies, to promote the series:

You'd be surprised - the new series overhaul actually supplies plot and character depth unlike generation three of the series or the initial eighties release.
And the majority of the comments on the videos are guys admitting to liking the series - mainly because you can only really start to enjoy the show if you actually watch the first two episodes and don't give up after thinking it's dumb in the first five. Always give things a chance.

And yes. Males coined the term bronies, as well as the DJ on the show, who is most well-known as DJ P0n-3.

It's actually really popular in adults, who make the majority of the pony images/gifs.

And if you hate the show, at least give it a chance before you knock it.
After all... as Fluttershy says:

I watched the first episode for two minutes and 24 seconds, but my face melted off, and I was unable to continue watching the pony induced horror named My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

I never liked MLP to tell you the truth. I don't care if it was made by the same person who made The Powerpuff Girls (a show I actually like).

I never liked it before this series, either, because they all acted overly-girly. As I stated, this reboot actually gives character depth and plot , and is worth giving a shot. And surely you're just over-reacting, Digidude123. I honestly disliked the first five or so minutes of the first episode, but really started to get into it as the plot progressed.

But, you're all entitled to your own opinion. The ponies don't really mind.

But seriously... this thread is for discussion of the show: if you dislike it, you can post here, but discuss why you dislike it. Images are just optional additions that I use all the time.

I'll just stare at cat pictures now until I forget the ponies.

Cats are in My Little Pony as well, you can't use them to escape the adorable madness.

I was introduced to this show over on DCF. I was a bit skeptical at first, but after watching the pilot, I was hooked. My favorite characters are Rarity, Fluttershy, Spike, and Pinkie Pie. In terms of looks, Rainbow Dash is my favorite.

Anyways, I found the first two episodes boringer than the rest, but the fact I wanted to know more about toe songs compelled me to continue.

Drakkon dragged me into Ponydom. But it's all good. I just bought some little figures for my dresser. Fittingly, two of the three are Rarity (My first favorite) but the other is Apple Jack (Second favorite. Coincidence that their personalities totally clash?) to remind me not to be too prissy.

But seriously, that episode that I just watched today, "A Dog and Pony" was the funniest episode I've watched. I laughed SO hard. That stuff with Rarity was just priceless. I watched the episode like three times afterwards, and I'm pretty sure it was funnier than some comedy routines I've seen.

In Canada there are no ialp shows on tv.

We are all blessed.

Even Though teh series is sadly not in German televesion I am a MLP Fan since I was about 5 years old... and love to fidn informations about new thngs on the iternet.. what i know about that series its cool...
