DIGITAL ARTISTS NEEDED

Ignite, it'll be replaced later on. XD I don't really like the style of Rhynns, it looks kinda cartoony also. If she could make it more realistic and less cartoony and more spherical looking it'd be better. It's not supposed to look like a map, but a planet. It's ok if the city markers are still on there. I'd prefer to have the city markers on there.

I was going to attempt to make it look less cartoony and more realistic, but I doubt I could pull it off. I could try I suppose. XD

Ignite, do you want my psd file to work with? Would be a bit easier with layers and blending options I used, lots of stuff can just be turned off xD If you want it, Pm me your mail address so I can send it

I am also going to try to make it less cartoony, if I have time tomorrow.

Also, the map that's currently on the site has a little bit of white around the edges, which is bothering me a lot... if that map is going to be used, can I please, please, please remove it? I'm quite experienced in removing white from images, done a lot of renders for planet renders...

I want to wait until some better maps come also because I know that the current one isn't the best. I'd like someone to make a circular, more realistic, spherical one. Skie got the realistic part with the clouds but not the spherical part. And some of the land looks cartoony. Rhynn, can you try again?

It's better, but like I said, it needs to look spherical and there needs to be no background on it. Also, the clouds should look more real. Let's see if Rhynn can try also lol

I just got my new wacom! The surface is totally different from my old one though (the old one was smooth plastic, this one is more rough) so I have to get used to it again xD But I'm going to work on Zeima now

Right, it's still very much unfinished, I'm still mainly trying to figure out how I can best make some realistic looking relief on the planet surface. And I still want to play around with the clouds a bit more, not quite satisfied with those... but what do you think so far? Looking more realistic yet?

Oh wowww it looks a lot better! Just when you're done, remove the space background because it'll already be on the site by default. And you seem to have moved Garnesto (It's the GenCorp capital city of the planet lol) You see the chain islands on the right side of the planet? draw a horizontal line in the middle and you'll hit the city. It's supposed to be on the coast in the middle. But it looks really nice so far

Oh dear, I wiped the capital off the face of the planet xD

I will certainly remove the space background, I just wanted everything to be completely visible so you could have an idea of what it will eventually look like But the end result will be without the background, yes.

Gah, I just noticed I actually uploaded the wrong version. That is the less spherical version, on this one I made the land masses follow the shape of the planet:

I'm still not entirely sure about the location of Garnesto, could you maybe draw a little marker on my map? Then I know where to put it exactly

*edit* the city at the top right is falling off the land, I've fixed that already, just not on the above version

Not much different from the previous version really, just a few really small changes. I'll probably work on it more tomorrow or in the weekend, but I have to start getting ready for work now so I'm off!

I don't have any maps for mavi and P1. Zeima and P1 and Mavi will be the only ones open the first few weeks. So you can go wild with P1 and Mavi And the Mavian tropical rainforests are green/blue. More on the bluish side, just because. Just use the Planet Info post to get an idea of what and what NOT to put on the planets ^^

Okay I'll start with making some basic maps this weekend then, so others can also work on them if they want to (or if someone else makes maps before that I'll use those to work on planets this weekend )
